Castor V Pollox  Jewelry is the brain child of Jessica O’Connor from Sydney’s Paddington.

As Miss O’Connor says,  ‘’In the legend of Castor & Pollox, Castor was the mortal, and Pollox immortal.  I see my jewelry as Pollox, immortal and imperishable, & I the Castor, but a mere Mortal.  In a way it’s a selfish artistic medium due to the fact that it excites me to think in a thousand years someone may excavate one of my pieces and wonder who and where it came from, this excites me the most!’’

Having studied the lost art of Wax Casting for 2 years, this is her way if keeping the technique alive.

All pieces are 100% hand carved & cast in Australia by Jessica herself.  Unlike the mythological twins no two pieces are the same, all for the love of keeping individuals &  jewelry collectors happy.

With her first release of Rings in October 2009 her main influences derive from Ancient techniques producing Dripping Fine Metals, a Bezel set Opal & Onyx double band Ring, Roman jewelry for purpose & Glittering single set Knuckle Dusters.
